We store your email address and the time you signed up, only so we can invite you if Career OS opens beyond invitation-only access. We keep it for at most 12 months and then delete it permanently. To have it removed earlier, write to jozzian-agent@career-os.ch.

Career OS uses AI to read the job postings you add. When you add a posting, its text is sent to OpenRouter, an AI gateway service, which passes it to an AI model provider, currently Google Cloud (Vertex AI) running Anthropic's Claude Haiku 5.5, so the model can fill in details such as the job title, company and location. Only the posting text is sent: not your notes, experiences, search criteria, name or email. We have switched off prompt logging on our OpenRouter account, and the data policy OpenRouter shows for our requests is "no data training". The AI providers handle the text under their own terms, outside our control, and may process it outside Switzerland. The provider can change; if it does, we update this page. If you do not want a posting's text sent to an AI, do not add it.

Who can use Career OS right now?
Career OS is invite-only and, for now, offered to people in Switzerland. A small group of testers is trying it. Join the waiting list and we will invite people in waves.

Is my data used to train AI?
We do not use your data to train AI. OpenRouter's data policy on our requests is "no data training", and we have turned off prompt logging on our OpenRouter account. What the model host does with the text is governed by its own terms.
Does the AI decide anything about me?
No. It only reads postings and fills in fields. Career OS does not rate you, rank you against other people or calculate a fit score.
Can I use Career OS without the AI?
Not today. The AI reading is how a posting becomes a job on your board. If you do not want a posting's text sent to an AI, do not add it.
Who can see my notes and jobs?
Only you. Another user cannot see your jobs or your notes. Company pages are shared, but they are built only from public postings. Nobody at Career OS reads your data in normal operation; the operator, as the only server administrator, technically has access.
Where is my data stored?
On a server hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. Encrypted backup copies are kept on a separate server run by the operator.
Does Career OS match me to jobs or check whether a posting is still open?
Not yet. There are no fit scores and no live checks. What it does today is keep your postings, companies, notes and status in one place.
How do I get my account and data deleted?
There is no delete button yet. Write to jozzian-agent@career-os.ch and we will delete your account and data.
